Why don't you get it remapped? I would have a word with someone like Bob Rawle of BR Developments and see what he advices.

By the way are you pi$$ed off because you only made 200bhp on the rollers, and therefore, down the pub, your todger won't be seen to be as large as your mate's, or does the car drive and handle badly? Either way my advice stands.

Good luck

A good service and tune to see whats up with it?
These cars only push around 218bhp standard on 100 ron fuel, yes you are a little off that but you really need to be down a speciallist getting the above done.

Other suggestions, cam timing, ignition timing, spark plug gap, fuelling problem (over or under)

Failing that it's an older car.......your compression might be down.

Its beginning to sound serious and expensive mate (I don't mean to depress you). When was the last time you had it fully serviced?

The more I hear the more I think you need to see someone....fast!

Hope it goes well.

Cheers

If it's a 94 WRX wagon then it will be an import, dont these have something like 240bhp standard?

Just a thought .. if yours is an import it must have had to be de-restricted ? was it done correctly ? there may be a fault with that...

Good luck with it mate..

Chris,
No the WRX wagons have a to04 turbo and not a td05, their output isnt as high as the saloon versions and wasnt until about 1997 when they got the same power (they stayed at 220ps for quite some time )
