WR Blue paint or any paint specialists
Does anyone know if there are different versions of WR Blue paint ?
I have got a couple of cans of it made up at halfords and the guy only had one listing on their system for WR Blue, so he mixed me up a couple of cans.
I have just tried it on a piece of smooth cardboard. 4 coats blue and a coat of lacquer and it appears to be a lot deeper colour than on my car ? (03wrx)
Also i noticed that the instructions on the can of lacquer state that i need to rub the base coat down prior to lacqering it, so that it has the best finnish.
I this right ? it sounds a little extreme to me (just want to make sure before i paint my side skirts)

I've had this problem with my car (74f - sonic blue). Halfords or Subaru, the touch-up paint is a shade darker - dont know why???
I've just painted some 'Morettes' using halfords paint/lacquer. I did as the instructions said for the lacquer, and rubbed down for a 'matt' finish, but it was a mess - near impossible to get the 'finish' even. I repainted mine and applied lacquer
good luck !!
