SPEEDING
Here is the story,
Took my wrx out last Sunday for a blast.
Found a long straight stretch of duel carrigae way.
Decided to up the gain and ratio on my Blitz boost controller on the move.(got a little carried away)
Heard that heart stopping noise, checked in my rear view mirror and saw a T5 right up my **** ****
To cut a long story short have been given a 9 month ban
Solicitor said i should i should sell the car, but that was not a option as i have spent a lot of time, effort and money on the car
What happens with my insurance?
Should i be notifiying my insurance company?
Is it void?
Car is now in the garage for the next 9 months
Really pi$$ed off
Gutted that i will miss out on this years events especially the NBO 2004
Anyone had a similar experience

Very bad luck mate!
Yes, notify your insurance company. Try to change the insurance for some sort of laid-up policy. You can also refund the tax disk & will in a special form you get from the post office to inform the dvlc the car is off the road.

9 months sucks
You can download a copy of the V890 (SORN) to declare your car off road here http://www.dvla.gov.uk/forms/frms_vehicles.htm and then get a refund on your road tax
