Delivery date moved again
Well the delivery date has moved again for my WRX SL this is the third time.
Now been told I will get it early May ,talk about being pi**ed off
,originally supposed to get it late March early April

Delivery on an SL
Jason,
I am not sure why it should take so long? What have you ordered(4dr or Wagon) and which colour?
We ordered our's on 2nd April and the dealer found a car by the Saturday morning for delivery this Friday. I don't want to disapoint you even more but it was suggested that if we didn't get hold of the car the dealer located, then the next boat was June. Have you actually paid a deposit - I wonder if it may be worth you trying another dealer.
I can let you have the name and number of ours if it would help.

I've orderd a WR Blue WRX SL 4 dr.
Been on the phone to another dealer and they could get me a WR Blue WRX (not SL) in three days time.
If i wanted an SL they would check with other dealers and try and swop another car for a WR Blue WRX SL
Best of it is i asked about an STi ,and was told that he could get me one with in two weeks depending on colour

It's a Silver WRX SL Wagon, fairly much out of the box, apart from a dog guard and load liner, and privacy glass.
The salesman's name is Paul Woolford, at TH White in Cirencester, and his phone number is 01285 653354. We did most of the work over the phone, so don't worry about that part of it. No deposit was required, and you'll find that if you ring him, he's a really nice chap...Different, but a refreshing change from those smarmy gits you sometimes come across

In the old days the UK would provide the SL type mods, but with side air-bags Japan insists on doing it there - hence the need to wait for the boat - and given the few numbers and only recent availability of SLs (since last summer) there aren't many spare ones over here.

The sales man that I ordered the car from was off today (typical) but ill be phoning him tomorrow if its going to be July then I think the ordered will ether be cancelled or it will be changed to an STi

I hope for the dealers sake that the guy I spoke to today has got it wrong ,apparently there are two others with the same surname as me who have cars on order hopefully he has looked at the wrong one.
