SPEEDING TICKET QUERRY
Unfortunately for me, I was caught speeding the other day. On the othere hand, fortunately, they did not get me on their in car screen computer thingmy. They said they knew i was doing over 100 however were unable to prove it. I was therefore given a notice of conditional offer of fixed penalty (3 points and sixty bangers.) They said they would put travelling at 90 - 94 mph in a 70 mph zone.
Whilst I am happy to accept 3 points and pay the fine in lieu of loosing my license (and then my job,) surely '90-94 mph' is a bit rough in terms of definition? Is there a wat of getting out of this?
Any views before I send off the cheque and my license?
BTW - this type of thing does teach you a BIG lesson. I reckon the money I will save in petrol by driving slower will easily cover the £60 fine and any associated rise in insurance costs.

Surely you did not need to go through this to decipher this piece of logic for battery chickens?

So the police have told you that they can't prove anything & don't have a case against you & yet you're still going to accept a fixed penalty? Good grief mate, that's very decent of you!
I'd see them in court! Whatever you said when you were stopped could destroy your case though - you didn't say anything did you?

With the knowledge you were travelling over 100mph, to get a fixed penalty ticket you need to say thank you as 100+ equals pedestrian as an average speed of 90 - 94 mph could still get you banned if you elect to go to court
