Don't laugh what is the max towing capacity for my 1999 turbo wagon? Its for towing a rib not a caravan (honest) Don't know how I am going to keep the speed to 50mph

i used to tow my R1 round on my scoob for trackdays- i used to forget it was there....till i glanced in my mirrors at 100mph and thought "**** he's close"

If it's the same as a Forester Turbo (which it might not be), it's around 1700kg.
What size rib is it? I towed a 7.5m rib yesterday with a borrowed forester, & it wasn't a problem at all
60 limit on the motorway by the way - not 50...don't go even slower than you have to

It is a 6mtr rib that we use for diving with an evinrude 125hp engine which makes this a pretty heavy boat (around 1100kgs I think)
Thanks for the 60mph wasn't aware of that as I don't tow often
I think the forrester has a larger towing capacity than the impreza though.

I think the limit's 1500 kg for an impreza, so there shouldn't be a problem. Might be a bit hard going though... Why not buy my range rover? 3500kg tow capacity.... only £2700 Just rebuilt engine....
