Default Info on the McRae 555 series

Am after some info on the McRae 555 series, anybody know of any sites, or have some knowledge of their own?

All's i know so far is that there wer 200 made all together, I'm hoping for some BHP specs, 0-60, top speed (mph) and any other interesting facts that make it different from a WRX

Ta

All below seats are recaro
brembo brakes
electric sunroof
body work identical to wrx classic
only released in one colour(i think)
high level sti spoiler
electric mirrors(folding)
electric lights
water jets in bumper
limited edition gold i.d plate(in front of gear shift)
only aval.in 95(i think)

A friend of mine had one, just the same performance as a uk turbo and the same looks as my wrx.Seats are excellent and it has union jack badges on wings with colin mcrae under them. hope this helps

Jap Mcrae version had small spoiler WRX seats with FIA laurel and McRae signature on drivers seat and Derek Ringers signature on the pax seat Came in saltire blue,a direct request from McRae,granted because he had just won championship,FIA badge on the bootlid,DCCD,Intercooler water spray Etc Etc
16vMarc quoted the figures from a UK Series McRae The Jap Mcrae was awesome power wise(well over the gentlemans agreement of 276bhp),I used to have an ECU from a Jap McRae in my car WOW
If you get the oppertunity to buy one go for it because they are highly cherished in Japan and very few ever come up for sale They are as rare,if not rarer, than the 22b Performance wise it would give a 22b a run for its money Do not confuse this car with the 555 ltd edition which some are passed off as being "555 colin mcrae edition" Its either a 555 or a McRae edition

The 555 is to with their sponsors Dont know how many,500 AFAIK The 555 is a top cars but the Jap McRae is slighly different slighly rarer slighly better The 555 edition is slightly darker blue, the Mcrae is the same shade as the scottish flag
There was one for sale down in Kilwinning for 13000 last summer I had a good root about it Sold it to a farmer down in Lockerbie I still see it every so often
