BOV had enough!
Hello! I'm new to ScoobyNet (and only 1yr ago lost my Subaru virginity!). I have MY03 WRX with PPP and out of curiosity bought a Turbosmart Veeport BOV just to see what it was like. It was dead easy to fit and gave no probs. Now I think I want a break from the special effects. Didn't see any enhancement of performance. I tried to put the standard recirc back on yesterday and boy what a hastle!. Got myself into contortions only seen in the Kama Sutra trying to get the outlet back onto the plumb back hose. Several scrapes and bruises later I gave up and put the Veeport back on. Am I going to have to remove the intercooler to get enough access? Thank you all for putting up with a novice question. Ta!

I had a Forge VTA fitted for a while and didn't like it so I put the old Recirc one back on. I too lost a lot of skin but it was possible to do it with the I/C in place.

I did it with a pair of pliers, if you look close there is a hook ( thinking that a my03 is the same as a my02) as you say its hard work till you find out how to keep the clip open

just open it fully and it locks... then tie some cotton around it so it don't slip down the pipe too far and grease ip the pipe a little... push the pipe in, pull the sripng into place and use some snipe none pliers to sqeaze the clip it will pring back to shut... done...

Can I just say, don't put granny-frighteners on in the first place. It's not big, It's not clever, and it'll save you some skin when you realise this later.

if you are any thing like me you will leave it off for a few weeks, hear a dump valve on another scoob then decide it didn't sound that bad and put it back on only to take it off again
