Default Rolling Road Results(Opinions Please)

I am hoping someone can shed some light on the following for me.
I put my MY00 Impreza turbo on the rolling road yesterday and it has the following mods
Full decat exaust(centre and downpipe)
Green Panel Filter

and got the following results

Power 222 BHP @ 6045 rpm /184 km/hr
Torque 294 Nm @ 4120 rpm /126 km/hr

According to the guy doing it, he said it was running perfectly and boost staying at 1 bar and slightly tailing off at 5400 rpm and there was no knocklink activity at all (no det)
The car runs on SUL (97ron).

To drive the car it seems alot more powerful than a standard MY00 and pulls very well but I am still confused. I was expecting about 245 bhp considering a standard Turbo is about 220 BHP so was a little dissapointed on paper.

Can anyone please give me their opinions on this and why its only putting out 222 bhp running a full decat and panel filter and at the same time I am told it ran perfectly well.

Thanks..

Rolling roads can only really be used to compare with others cars on the same day.

There are many pitfalls and variables in interpreting the results and some are well known to generally be more pessimistic than others.

On some rollers 222 for a decat MY00 is not bad- the MY00 does run less power than the MY99 because of a more conservative ECU map - it runs richer and the boost drops off slightly earlier.

Thanks John,

On the same day a P1 got 240 bhp and was also told the car was running perfect so it may have been that particular rolllers. Would you reccomend me try another place.

I find it hard to imagine the same model car as mine and same mods on other rollers being up to 30 bhp different...

My MINI made 243hp / 195lb/ft at AmD's rolling road, I'm not a fan of rolling roads really too many variables only really good for comparing cars with differenet mods IMO....

What was the wheel hp figure ?

If a healthy P1 got 240BHP then you are laughing and bang on what it should be doing.

Believe it re the differences between rollers.

Average MY00 decat at Powerstation when I last looked at the dyno site was 223 BHP, at Well Lane it was 263 BHP.

Thanks for the opinions and
John,
My mind is more at ease now after that statistic. Couldn't understand it as its bullet quick since the decat.

My scoob (my96) Jap import got 218BHP on a rolling road, thats with decat and backbox, turns out that my car has a dawes device, and it wasn't set up properly, now thats been done and have a green cotton panel filter, it goes nicely, be interesting what is pulls on the RR again, almost forgot, the previous owner put a STI2 ECU (UK spec) in the car

As said you have to take rolling roads with a pinch of salt, my MY00 PPP with Green filter made 279bhp @ 6420rpm & 242lb/ft torque. So you cant really take the read out too seriouslly!!!
