I think they look a hundred times better when clean. Reasonable price, too.
Hayward & Scott (aka scoobyexhausts) sounds really nice at idle (with full H&S system). Really brings out the flat four burble. Again, reasonable price.
Or if you want volume, go for a Blitz Nur Spec. Very, very loud.

just fitted a TSL firestorm from a magnex this morning, big grin.
TBH the firestorm is a little bit too loud, if the blitz is louder god help the hearing of the driver!
my idea of the ultimate b/box for me would be a combination of the 2, the magnex tailpipe needs to be a bit bigger and a bit louder, while the firestorm needs to be a little bit quieter and the pipe about 1/2" smaller. as my neice said yesterday 'why are you putting a chimney on your car uncle?'
whatever you go for will make you smile until your mouth splits, it's just a question of if you can live with it day in day out.

I fitted a Blitz Nur Spec R system yesterday, absolutely awsome. A good point about this exhaust is its realli loud when you want it to be and when you want to quieten it down a bit you use the bung/silencer provided, qualitly is 2nd to none.

How about the Afterburner Vortex. I had one brought one approx 3 months ago. The bloke who fitted it was taking the p*ss for having a big exhaust but when he started it up hes mouth dropped to the floor cause it just sounds so fecking AWESOME! Your car will feel alot more responsive too with just the backbox. Check out www.scoobyworld.co.uk and go for it!

the nur spec r, one of the best imho and ive had several systems.
Just replacing a back box wont give you any real power, ditching the cat(or cats depending what car you have) is the way to go.
I have a scoobysport downpipe and the blitz centre and rear. The noise is awesome, and as stated above it comes with a removable bung which should quietin it down, although i have never used it
