Default Quick! Modded/Remote Knocklink help please!

Hi - quick question for all you boffins on your lunch break! Sorry it's the wrong forum but I kind of need to sort this now-ish

I'm modding a knocklink to make the LEDs remote (a-pillar pod). I've unsoldered the LEDs from the PCB and now need to add the extra lengths of wire out to the LEDs The wire I have looks far to thick - it's multistranded stuff. Does anyone have the spec for wire that would be the job please? Single strand stuff perhaps? Thickness? I had a quick look at Maplins but sadly my brain melted (as usual when it comes to technical stuff ).....

TBH it doesn't really matter, I use 6 or 8 wire small signal multicore just because its neat, however if its all hidden you're talking individual wire I'd go for 7/02 or something like that, its nice and flexible.

Just to add, you only need 6 wires instead of extending the 10 legs on the LEDs, 5 singal and 1 common - you can see which leg is common by looking on the PCB.

Multistrand is better than single stand, more flexible and less likely to break, but again for this application either is fine.

Burgalar alarm cable or telephone cable will work just fine and fits nicley through the hole left by the big red led!

Cheapo speaker cable or is that too "heavy"?

even el cheapo speaker cable is likley to be 1.0mmsq cross section wich is far to big, u can get telephone wire from B&Q quite cheaply, all u need is about 1 metre. Can't recall the exact crossection of telephone cable but it's quite small, ideally you want something that will fit through the hole in the PCB that the leg of the LED left.
