Default boost gauge pipe

hi all need some help can anyone tell me where to put the t piece of my defi boost pipe on the engine as there is no blanked off pipe its an sti8, i have connected it into the wastegate pipe at the minute and it just moves the needle when i decelerate cheers

The best place to tee into is the dump valve pipe which goes from the dump valve itself to the inlet manifold (i.e. the smaller one of the two pipes connected to the dump valve).

I did this on my WRX MY03 and confirm it works well. Just make sure all your joints are leakproof.

For an accurate view of whats happening you can put it into the pipe to the MAP sensor.

cheers guys ill try this tommorrow ,is there enough room to fit a tee there then
