Question Possible problems with Gearbox/clutch?

Only when going in to 3rd I get the sensation (via gear changing hand) that it wants to jump out of gear and feels like I'm getting an odd pulsing from the gearbox. Once in it's fine, but when in 3rd and slowing fast with hand on stick ready to change down got the same thing. All other gears are crisp and 3rd is for 3/4 of the time but it's very odd and has only happened within the last day or two. I've been getting maga clutch judder for the last week so wonder if it's all related?

Is this an imminent sign of anything serious? Only ask as I've got some very important journeys to do and don't fancy being stranded when needed somewhere.

BTW, it's a MY02 WRX on 54k!

:-)

I've been getting a similar thing, intermittently, and have found 1st and 2nd becoming very notchy going into gear.

Mainly, I get a strange noise / resonance when engine braking in 2nd and 3rd. Strangely this only appeared after changing the wheels recently ??

Had 4 wheel alignment done last week, and going to get the wheel balance checked tomorrow...
