Never got this in the Corrado
Corradogirl and myself parked the Scoob outside a chippy today having a quick nibble, when a load of young Chav types walk by. Two of them pulled out digital cameras and started taking pictures asking, "Mind if we take some shots of your motor, mister?" I've had admiring glances in the past, and even some favourable comments, but an impromptu photo shoot made me chuckle.
My only worry is that now there may be a stolen blue 03 knocking around with my plate on it

The road was busy with other cars at the time and it seemed they singled out the Scooby for attention.
Not sure whether to be angry or thankfull they weren't carrying bricks. They were gone 10 minutes later so not much point calling the police.

Dave - beware a call from the police in the dead of night....
"Was your car involved in an armed robbery in ....xyz.... earlier this evening sir?"
'No, it's parked here at home.'
"Well, that's funny, becase a passer by took a note of your number."

Iwan - When I was about 12 I was out with my older bro in his 1st car (Ford Consul ) and a bonehead in kneehigh Doc Martins ('82, some people wouldn't let punk die ) glanced over his shoulder and gobbed on the screen. The next thing he spat out was his own teeth.
HB - A mate of mine once dropped his wallet (inc. driving license) in an off license. A couple of hours later it was held up, and my mate got a rude awakening at about 2am from 8 fully armed cops. He was held 3 days as the starting pistol (silly sod) found in his wardrobe was slightly incriminating. He only got off when the culprits were caught in the act, confessed to the one my mate was charged with and confirmed he was nothing to do with it. Lucky guy
Dracoro - I have to agree
The fact said chavs were about 12 makes me feel they were benign, I hope.
