Yes, but that was also with uprated fuel pressure, top-mount intercooler and equal length headers
Also had about 285 lb / ft.

Powerstation rollers are VERY conservative. STI's with PPP never really seem to get the power quoted and I have been to a fair old few RR's at powerstation to know that your 265 is probably very realistic when compared with others on the day and not across other rolling roads..
On other rollers you'll probably easily see your expected figures..!!

We actually saw a peak of 299 BHP and 294 lb/ft but I asked Merv to put a safety margin in as I didn't want to cook the poor little TD04
Merv reckoned that was one of the highest torque figures he'd seen from the TD04.

Sorry for cutting across the thread and this might sound like a stupid question but I am putting my MY00 Turbo with full de-cat and panel filter on a rolling road on Saturday.
I have a Knocklnk fitted and dawes afr. Do you think I should fit a boost gauge before it gets a blast on the rollers or is there any need?
Thanks.

I wish they would start including a boost gauge as standard. With the decat I would seriously reccommend having a boost gauge to make sure you aren't getting any potentially damaging boost spikes.

EMPEROR'S CLOTHES REMAPS
Thanks guys for all that ,was looking for more than that don't no? got a boost gauge peaks at 17psi so is the norm 256/228 for up & down pipe k&n panel filter with H&s system with a eck tek 3, standard at powerstation it was 213/ 197.An out of box sti8 got 260bhp (non ppp ) so the figures seem fair don't they, so was 285bhp from a tek 3 on a bugeye wrx expection seems a tad optimistic or was the map flawed .But after all this it drives miles better and getting 13.8 at Stanta Pod. So was this money well spent? I mean with a full decat I would of got 30 bhp on the standard fig. Your thought's guys???

Mate as said my MY01 got 291 BHP and 2 other fully decatted MY01's got 285 BHP and 277 BHP respectivley.
The lower of the cars had a mis-match of exhaust components (TSL,Janspeed,Prodrive) whereas the higher 2 had the full H&S systems. We put his lower BHP figure down to this but on the plus side he did get better torque figures than the other 2 MY01 cars.
The Ecutek custom map transforms the car and with a de-cat will destroy any PPP'd WRX.

powersation read low as stated mine had 260 bhp
but I did have 270lbs torque, but remove 20ishlbs as I have Equal length headers
so compared to mine you could say you are down 20lbs torque but this is still all crap as different days give different figures
forget what the rollers says - how does the car drive? Mine felt much lighter (weird thing speed you get used to it too quickly )
Since mine was on the road it has been re mapped by another mapper as it was detting so I could be down on power to before but the car feels so much different, on the first map the car through you in the seat from 3k to 5k but was Sh*T everywhere else my secs monitor said I had never gone over 6k which must say something
On the second map the car no longer through you back and I can't really feel the turbo spool up but the power is all through the rev range and is much more lively past 80 mph as the car keeps pulling
so what Im trying to say is the same car with the same mods just different mappers one feels quicker on the road but I feel it would get less on the rollers
I feel that 250lbs through out the rev range is better than 300lbs past 5k but nothing before this, some may disagree
if you are still worried pop down to one of the rolling road days with a few other subarus and compare what you are getting to what they are seeing with similar mods, but yet again I wouldn’t take to much notice as I hear that wheel alignment heat soak etc will effect you individually

scooby66,
you need to compare your results with a similiar car on the same rollers on the same day. that's the only real way of telling if your map is any good.
