Talking Had 1000 mile service & fot Prodrive Spring Kit Fitted.....

Superb.

It is a very quick car, I had a huge grin on my face.

The Prodrive Springs make it feel soooooo much more like I expected it too and barely effect the comfort of the ride. They also make it look much better IMHO.

Centre of gravity lowered
Less body roll
Less understeer
Less floatiness at high speed
Better turn in
Better feel for the road
Almost no discernable effect on ride comfort

If you have a WRX and wanna keep your warranty, the Prodrive Spring Kit is a must have in my opinion.

I also got the fog light covers which are clear perspex and say Subaru in black on them. They fit over the foglights themselves rather than covering any of the surround. Another must have in my opinion ad I cracke a foglight within 3 weeks of ownership

Jasoon - Get them.

I'm always amazed at people asking for part numbers / prices for Scooby bit on here. Subaru do have a website you know

http://www.subaru.co.uk/accessories/...3_frameset.htm

Part No. SACC1246
£ 19.95 (including VAT)

unfortuantely that's for the foglamp covers.

I got a fine deal for the spring kit as the dealer misquoted me £249 inc. VAT & Labour

It's still worth the 300-350 IMHO though. Mind you, you can add £150 to that for the alignment you need afteerwards

partly (parts or labour - can't remember which)

should be under £100 anyway and ask for fully synthetic oil, they should recommend it anyway, but there is an option for semi which you don't want to take

mine was under £400 inc. spring kit & foglamp covers - I'll post pics soon

Agreed that the springs improve everything whilst hardly affecting the ride BUT the car still rolls far too much for its performance!

I know I should stop moaning about it and fix it but I want to keep my warranty and bar knowing about springs and dampers I'm lost on suspension options!
