Mines in tomorrow for it's MOT, and as it's a very old friend doing the test, thought I'd change the oil whilst it's up on the ramp. Got 4l of castrol 10/60 rs for £25.00, and a genny subaru filter and sump washer for £10.00. Cambelt next, £104 for a genuine subaru belt, £70.00 fitting, just gives you that little piece of mind, even though the cars only just done 10k.

Both of these are X posts from SIDC but

£174 on a cambelt is wasted money. Subaru will pay < 60k m or 3y if it goes and it won't.

What do you think misty should buy instead? I reckon geometry (120 -160) and a curry with the change.
