In the next couple of weeks I have to take my car back to the dealer to get the suspension geom setup after having the Prodrive springs fitted. What I need to know is that as I have about an hours drive to get there would the temperature of the tyre affect the setting up of the alignment etc.

Cheers Brun, I would use one closer but as it is part of the deal i.e. free then it seems silly to pay for it somewhere else. I guess not all subaru dealers tell their customers to leave it for a couple of weeks before getting the geom setup correctly. Is it easy to straighten up a stearing wheel that has gone off centre?

How long should the car be left after Prodrive spring fitting before doing the geometery?

Can't it be done same day as spring fitting?

about 500kms, it settles a little

edit: I take it you meant the second allignment after settling ?

I meant straight after fitting.

ie. Can you do the geometery alignment straight after spring fitting?

Are you suggesting it needs to be done twice?
