VW Corrado (hence the name ) 1.8 16V 152bhp with mods. 0-60 not too quick (8ish) but once moving, boy did it handle so no need to slow down. Still got it BTW (hence still the name ).

Ford Probe 2.0L 16V, nice car in stunning Chameleon Blue paint. Not too quick though.
115 BHP, 0-60 in 10.6 secs and a top speed of 128....
Amazingly for a car with 'modest' performance it was Insurance Group 16.
Cheap as chips too, virtually had to give it away when I got the Scoob (5 weeks ago) and it was a 97/R in great nick.
Only changed cos we bought a dog so I needed an Estate
Forgot to say have a MY02 Wagon Import

But they were/are good cars, loved hammering down the autobahns in it.
0-60 wasn't to bad either.

Clio Sport 172 Mark 1
Really loved it, my first real fast car.
Went for the scoob as it was the fastest thing for the money (03WRXppp) and it flatters my poor driving skills!!!
If money was no object i think i'd still only go for the T25 or Evo 8 FQ330.
might be tempted by the Clio V6 though.

FSO Polenez 1.5 - Built and handled like a tail happy Tank.
Skoda 136 Rapide - I was young, it was free and it was black with a set of cosmics on.
Pug 205 1.9 GTi - Got it when I was 19, 14 years ago, impressed me so much I will never sell it.
Rover 214 SLi - Didn't go, didn't stop. It was cheap to run and insure though.
Pug 306 2.0 XSi - Quickish but too heavy for 130 bhp.
MY04 WRX - Still running it in, but still great fun.
