Amazing insurance comment from MAG
Just got this from the local rag, what an excelent comment...
Its from a guy called Steve Travis of Motor Cycle Action group, and it really is a GEM!
As writen..
" Currently the government , in effect, says, (we will make you buy this product, if you don't buy it then you can't drive, if you drive without buying this product we will fine you, endorse your licence, ban you from driving or even send you to prison, but we will in no way regulate the profits of those selling the product we are compelling you to buy) "
How's that...
The MAG say "this is a unfair arrangment in the interest of a free and fair market" and are campaigning to get reform in the market...
And I couldn't agree more...

at the moment very few UK insurers' motor books break even, let alone make a profit!
