Right here we go. my check engine light came on the other day on my 93 wrx and instantly the car started running like a bag of s###!! checked the error code which was 23 mass air flow sensor. bit the bullet and brought a new one (£220!!) and preceded to fit it. after removing the old sensor and k&n induction filter i found out what the problem was. the plastic tube (that k&n supply)that goes from the irv feed hose and slots into the hole in the intake hose had shattered , sucking in pieces of plastic that took the maf sensor out and looks like has bent the fins on my turbo!! didn't realise the turbo problem until after fitting the new maf sensor , car is not making boost just get a loud whining noise. also check engine light came on again (code 24) idle air control valve. would this be because of the turbo? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Personaly I am fairly anti induction kits cause they seem to muck up the MAF.
Sounds like you have a bit of expense ahead of you. Dunno about the 24 code
