Default speedo on my03 jdm sti?

today it started bouncing about freakily, and then stopped working, just mid journey, can something have come disconected? or its likely a faulty one, that needs replacing? probably silly money i guess, but any ideas anyone??

somthing to do with the conversion from km to mph ????

seems to be working again now, never had a problem before, i just left it for 1hr and then its right again, anyone else seen this?

Intermittant connection, check that the converter is still protected from moisture etc, its probably under the intercooler on the gearbox just where it will get dripped on if the water spray is in use, yours comes on at 18 deg intake air temp however the wet weather may have caused it to play up.

now, maybe you have a point, as i just had it washed and maybe they sprayed water in under the scoop?? I guess that could of caught it if its in that spot, i will have to have a look tomorrow, thanks bob
