WHERE CAN I GET A WR1????
Does anyone know of any dealer that has not sold all of there WR1 allocation?
My local dealer have sold there's but have told me that subaru are keeping 18 of them back, but that there is nearly no chance of being able to get hold of one of them. Hope someone can help.
Please mail me any dealer info direct. please dont post on here.
Cheers
Mark

On a side note, did anyone phone http://www.micronetshowroom.com to see if they could actually supply WR1's at the stated price?

There are I believe around 80 dealers each with an allocation of 3 cars.
So that means 240 cars are on the dealer lists with 260 remiaining. I have been told that when a dealer sells their allocation they may apply for more.
As has been posted - a good way would be to locate all the dealers via the Subaru website and then target those in *cough* less affluent areas *cough*.
Alternatively you could phone Subaru UK direct and find how many are left and where they are located. (Anyone buying a WR1 is obliged to provide full details so Subaru can track the sales).
The first dealer I tried had sold there allocation plus had ten names on a waiting list, but the second dealer I tried had one left, so the deposit is down.
Good luck

After getting a quote from micronet, I emailed them querying how they could get stock when Suburu were limiting supply to dealers. They explicitly confirmed they could supply a WR1 at the stated price via Subaru UK. Does this mean there is a supply of unsold WR1s somewhere?

Anyway, got myself a worthy replacement now!! Just need to wait a couple of years and the WR1's will have lost 8-10K!
