AAARGGGHHH! 2 tickets in 1 day!
I AM FUMING!!!!!
57 in a 30 which I accept was silly (even though the limit has recently been dropped from 40 with only one pair of small signs showing this). I can honestly say I didn't realise the limit had been dropped, but it still doesn't excuse 17 over what I though was the limit.
61 in a 50. This one's annoying because there's a short 50 stretch before the limit changes to 70. Nothing about the road changes for 70 to suddenly be safe further down the road.
8 years of driving without a ticket and now this. I'll probably have my first accident soon too from concentrating on my speedo instead of the road.
Still, think of the countless lives that have been saved by silently observing people breaking these outdated, inappropriate limits.

Sorry to hear yr misfortune. With six points on your licence I'd go out and buy a road angel and a LRC100 as soon as you can, if I were you.
This won't protect you from all eventualities but it will help (along with slowing down a bit).

57 in a 30 maybe you should think yourself lucky
I always go faster than i should but booting it in a 30 is a no no

Don't want to be the harbinger of doom, but for 57 in a 30, unless you already have been offfered a fixed penalty, expect a day trip to the magistrates. You're close enough to getting a ban, so I wouldn't be surprised if you're hauled in front of the bench for a fine and more than 3 points.

Yeah, I realise that I was going too fast and I'm annoyed with myself really as I'm normally very careful in urban areas. However, I do think that the 30 zone in question should be signposted more clearly, especially as it has been a 40 zone for so long; lots of others I have asked did not realise the limit had changed there either.
