Group 'N' Exhaust Info
I have the opportunity to have a full group N exhaust system for my 94 RA, can anybody advise me if this is worth fitting & what benefit if any, I may have over the standard wrx system with a STI back box, or perhaps compared to any other after market system......

It may be a little better flowing but will not be the best due to the fact it will have to have a standard type flange on the back of the turbo, ie not open necked design.

Thanks for your comments Mark@WRX, I'm just looking for a system that avoids looking like a dustbin sticking out the rear, but something that lets the flat four rumble be heard, discreetly though until gassed................

For this very reason (ie. no dustbin look) I went for the TSL GrpN backbox (twin 65mm pipe). Looks OE enough that coppers aren't very interested, but it's obviously custom to anyone in the know and emits a lovely throaty burble that is not too loud for neighbours and not too intrusive in the cabin.....
