Default evil *****

I'm so so p!ssed off!

woke up this morning, look out the window, huge key scratch from the front wing all the way to the back door right down to the white stuff!

I'm so not happy!

is this kinda thing easily repairable by a body shop?

Ask around for recommendations for a local Scratch Master type technician. Will be much more cost effective than body shop.

Try Chips away or the like , they should be able to sort it without spraying the whole side

Cheers guys, never thought about chips away, I'll give them a ring, are they any good with gouges in the paint that run the length of the car.

so far I'm looking at £280 for a respray of the side

Costs the same from chips away.

Think i'll go with my local body shop, I've seen his work and it's excellent, plus he's a scooby owner

If you can get the side painted for £280 then jump at it as it's a bargain especially if the bodyshop come recommended !

I dont think you'll find many 'smart' repairers that'd take on a full side repaint.

Sorry to hear about your car mate; that kind of behaviour makes my blood boil.

At the end of the day: you may have a scratch in the impreza, but you still have an impreza, (and your decency) which is more than whatever scum did that will have!

The worst thing about that kind of behaviour (apart from the obvious cost), is that it makes everyone suspicious when people stop to admire their car with no ill intent.
