New Age vr8 2 doors!!!!
anyone seen/thinking of doing a conversion? coz here we ave been thinking bout either doing A) a vr5/6 Type R into a "vr8 Type R" or B)use the existing vr8 into a 2-door Type R.
we r still doing the research on parts and price etc, but most probably go to option A.

thats a very good example of photoshop werks m8, but we've seen better example i.e. heard of the half-penny??

What you need is a lightly damaged but written off sti 8, or even 9!!
Then, do away with two doors, lengthen the front ones, bulge the arches, and bung a bigger lump in, and away ya go!

thats the prob we encountered when designing with the vr8, involves too much work. so we decided with the vr5/6 type R. replacins the body works with those of vr8, and wallah!
mind u, mods have 2 b made to the frames/sub-frames as well, not 2 mention the internals....thats why the gargantuan research as we want 2 make it look a completely special "model", ahem...

engine-wise....stick with the "original". maybe an upgrade with a 2.2 stroker kit+twin scroll etc....
it all comes down with d same problems....those greenies r actually quite limited...

it all comes down 2 d reasons i/we love scooby at the 1st place:
1) blue 2-door coupe wit gold alloys
2) the exhaust rumble
3) the performance
ask yerself, or anyone who is scooby-crazed n i'm betting my a$$ at least ONE of my points above takes their criterias.
going back 2 d topic which started dis thread; d classic imprezza is a beaut, but so as the new age (discounting the MY01/02 ie. bugeye), however the new age does NOT come wit a 2-dr version. so, rather than waiting for subaru 2 listen n act according 2 market demands, me just hav 2 take matters n2 our own hands n "built" our own 2-dr vrsion!!
