Is this WR1 going to be quicker than my beloved 996 then? Still hasn't beaten 0-100 in 10.1 secs though.

Really worried now. Went from STi PPP to the 911 C2 about 6 months ago. Maybe it's time to go back to Subaru again.

Are the unofficial figures posted elsewhere here that good?

It would leave you with quite a lot of change too from the 996 and too much of a loss of sheer grunt

Go visit Litchfield.. Im sure if you turn up in a 996 wanting a test drive of a type25 he'd be more than happy

If I was in your boat (I wish) I'd go for the type 25 and pocket the change..

Shame I need to be 30 to insure it! (3 years to go) ..

I swapped my 996 for a jdm sti9 at christmas, my girlfriend was'nt happy but I was, not looked back since only thing I miss is the noise and I have that in hand. Its growing on the girlfriend now I got drunk last week and she had to drive. I woke up half way home on a private bit of road on the way and thought whats all the noise the swine was only doing 145 with a stupid grin on her face she wouldnt have been able to do that in the 996
