Impreza Turbo Mods
Changing from standard Impreza Turbo 00 Model to the following:
1. Pace front mount cooler
2. Twin piston dumpvalve
3. VF 35 turbo
4. STi 7 Sub assembly.
5. Unichip with turbo module.
Worthwile mods or not, the block was analized to having bearing problems, so rather than rebuild it I want to change to the STi spec. My standard top mountr cooler is rather stuffed so I was able to purchase the Pace unit for next to nothing. What can be expected??

Front mounted intercooler, means moving your intercooler further away from your turbo, this will increase lag as a result so.....
2. dv.
personally i dont like these, lots of noise and no real benefit, the recirc type thats fitted will do the job better, just without the noise.
3. VF35.
As with the fmic, this will increase lag due to it being a bigger turbo.
4. STI 7 sub assy.... why?
5. Unichip.
Yet another why? you can use your existing ecu and get it remapped to run the following mods without any problems, cheaper in the longrun also
You have also missed out some very important parts, you will need an uprated oil pump and an uprated fuel pump if your after 300bhp, then your going to need to seriously look at your clutch and gearbox as both will start to suffer with this kind of bhp and the increased torque.
You should also be thinking of a BIG brake kit upgrade in the likes of AP 4/6 pots to compensate for your power increase, id do these first before the 5 points you started with.
