Got stopped on Hastings seafront on Friday for doing slightly over the limit. Didn't get nicked but I was told that Sussex police will apparently be prosecuting anyone doing over 35 in a 30 limit after 3rd July, no ifs or buts.

I think the guy was a bit miffed because I'd spied him the day before in an unmarked Volvo and slowed down before he could nab me but I thought I'd post it up to warn any Sussex bods on here to be careful.

Yeah i can confirm this is the case stupot, a friend of my wife got stopped in brighton doing 34 and got a similar telling off.

I live in Hastings, So that's usefull information. I take it, that it was the Dark Mettallic Blue/Green Volvo.

I guess their be pulling everyone over then. Oh ! apart from on Behill Road where ya lucky to reach 30 !!!!!

Hmmmm, it was actually a very visible marked Volvo with a huge copper standing on the other side of the road with a laser. Thing is, I came round the corner into direct sunlight straight in my face (about 7.30 pm) and he was standing in the shade of a bus shelter. Not very sporting.....

Still, at least he didn't nick me. I guess you're thinking of R621EAB - T5 saloon or NxxxOYJ - T5 estate...
