DIY facelift to STI7??

DIY facelift to STI7??
Need people's help and advice on this..
I really fancy an STI wagon. Ideally I would get an STI8 wagon, but they don't make these, so looks like I'll have to settle for an STI7. The thing is I hate the bugeye look, but really like the look of the front of STI8 (lights, bumper, bonnet etc).
So the question is..
Is it possible to fit the front wings, bonnet and bumper of an STI8 saloon, onto an STI7 Wagon?
Any help, comments or opinions much appreciated lads.
Cheers,
Mart.

i have seen one or two facelifts to standard sti bugeyes, there was a post about it on here before, and it has been done to a normal car, so unless they are different i would think you should be able to do it

That's great news! Are you sure this can be done to a wagon though? I know that the wagon has the smoothed off front wings, whereas the Saloon has the flared type. Do you think you'd still be able to do a swap on a wagon?
How much do all the bits cost?
THanks,
Mart.

Why go to all that trouble. Just get a new shape WRX wagon and TEC3/Afterburner plus a couple of other minor mods and you'll have the 300bhp. A few more quid on the cosmetics (scoop/light covers) and you're almost there. OK, you won't have the quick rack, 6 speed, Brembos and quite the same engine but come resale time it won't frighten people off like a cut & shut will. I'm sure with limitless funds the brakes/steering and 'box are easilly done too. Throw in some Eibachs, drop links and bracing and some (tacky) gold rims and it should look & go like what you want.
