Question Getting paint made up ?

I seem to remember reading on here that Halfrauds will make up spray paint for the Scooby ,Is this still the case ?and if so what info do they need to make it up , and is it any good (or do I get lumbered with the spotty oik who can't work the machine ?). Do they do it for most makes of car also ?

Thanks in advance

Dave

Zippy got his airosols cooked up by Halfords, he then painted an M.R.O bottom lip in silver. I would like to say that it was a cr4p job, but it was perfect.....

PM. Him for full details.

There's a company, I think they are called Autopaint, and they make up aerosols to any colour code. They advertise in the Autotraders and a quick web search might find them (they have lots of branches), I'll have a look.

Brown Brothers will make it up to a paint code too, nothing wrong with the Halfords aerosol mixing service either.

I had some made up by halfords, and it was a mile out. I then had some made up by the max Myers paint system at our local car paint place, but this time it was for my spray gun, and that was also a mile out as well. they looked again and there was two colours for 792 being 792 and 792 y+d. they would not swap the can they mixed wrongly saying it was my fault, I should of told them.
Just get them to check to see if there is more than one variant for your car
