My old MY95 had a full decat / downpipe / scoobysport backbox, and it sounded soooo sweet, but sometimes a little load of motorway journeys.

My new sti7 is standard, and it sounds sterile to me, but I don't really want to start modding it again this stage, but I do fancy *just* a new backbox. I'd like to keep the downpipe and centre section pretty much standard, I'd just like the STi to have the 'scooby growl' back, which with the STi pipe on it hasn't quite got it.

Scoobysport no longer do the exhaust, so what backbox do I buy, hayward and scott, or should I be looking at something else? Just to recap I'm not after something thats ganna blow me away. I just want the traditional scooby sound back?

I brought an Afterburner Vortex recently, it gives a fantastic sound and it does make the car more responsive. For the price its fantastic!

Nev,

Do what I do and stick to the A and especially twisty B roads!

555 Blue Wrx + full decat + induction + Blitz tail pipe = massive fun.

Milltek full system is the way to go, Power Station willl supply and fit, nice subdued menace to the exhaust, and a useful increase in performance!!
