I have read some recent threads regarding the Subaru extended warranty and as mine is up for renewal I thought I would ring IM and see what was on offer. I have been offered a policy called MotorCare which extends the warranty for another 3 years limited to 100K miles for £800. This includes all usual mechanical features, roadside assistance/recovery and accidental insurance which covers things like burst tyres and running out of petrol. This seems much better than the normal extended warranty especially with it being 3 years and 100K miles.

Which did you take out in the end?

I've been offered a Motorcare warranty along with a Scoob i'm thinking of buying. I believe the seller is trustworthy but wanted to know if anyone else has used Motorcare before and has anything good or bad to say about them?

Been offered the warranty at cost price, 6 month Gilt for £247, 12 month Gilt for £347 or Lifetime Gilt for £500.

Sounds pretty good.

In the end I discovered that the dealer I bought the car off had added an extra years Subaru warranty so I did not need to bother.
