Where to now?
I have owned my Scooby Wagon (MY00) since new and its been great, no trouble at all except the usual alarm problem (fixed under warranty).
I am now considering the possibilty of changing cars - trouble is, I don't have a clue what to look at? What are the contenders?
Requirements:- needs to house a dog - so wagon or coupe with large hatch area (like the old Calibra)
Needs to be able to pull a Folding Camper of about 900kgs
Needs to show a turn of speed (but not necessarily in the Impreza class!)
Needs to be economical on fuel (like the Calibra was! 45mpg all the time)
Needs to look good
Needs to be reliable (so that rules out VW and Audi!)
Oh, yes, I don't desire to modify it in any way and have no urge to do trackdays either!
Any ideas anyone? before I drive myself crazy!

Volvo V70 diesel? Or if you can put up with the Impreza style fuel consumption a turbo petrol.
I wouldn't but I reckon it meets most of your criteria.

Legacy - nice motor and I do like Subaru, BUT, residuals are terrible on them aren't they? ... maybe a 1 year old? agog is what the ladies do when I drop me troosers!
