Default AVGAS

Someone recently suggested to me that mixing 50/50 premium pump fuel and AVGAS would be a good idea for me here in kenya. we only get 93 octane pump fuel, so the car has probably never ever been out of limp mode. also octane boosters are not available. the car is fully de-catted so lead should not be a problem.

and negative aspects to this before i try?

The lead will damage the lambda sensor.

Using AVGAS is not a good idea but what you could do is run either Toluene or Methanol. Start off with a 10% mixture of one or the other plus some upper cylinder lubricant and see how you get on. Ideally you need an A.F.R. meter of some sort and a Knock Link.
