Having run my '95 Series Mcrae for nearly two years as standard I've finally decide to start tweaking. Have a couple of problems, has anyone with a similar car/set up to me any experience fo these?

Just after the 75,000 mile service I fitted a Scoobysport backbox. Sounds brilliant. However I now have a problem with hot starting. It randomly won't start if it's warm (been stood for anything from 10mins to an hour). Patience or bumping are the only way to get it going.

I've also just recently had a non-cat downpipe and induction kit fitted. I can now hear a wooshing noise on acceleration, am I losing boost or is it the air being sucked into the engine. I've been in a car with the same induction kit and it didn't make this noise.
