i have been in contact with Tsl who would also be interested in mapping the cars to full bespoke map. but they would require a list of types of cars and numbers involved before they could give us a price. Tsl have also suggested a uprated fuel pump which would be added to the group buy.
here is a a quote from there website
TSL are proud to work with Richard Bulmer. One of the most skilled and competent mappers in Europe. As the ex-General Manager and senior mapper at Motec Europe his CV reads as a very comforting "Who's Who?" for anyone contemplating improving their engine.
Ex F1 and Gp N Race engine builder / R & D engineer Tellemachus Motorsport.
Ex Team Manager MIT International Motorsport Taiwan, running drivers in the Asia Pacific Rally Championship running many drivers including Alisatair McRae!!
Ex Test Engineer for TOYOTA Team Europe!!!! responsible for R & D on all WRC cars, but particularly for a certain Mr Sainz….
Workshop Manager for Osselli Engineering developing high performance engine solutions.
Engine Builder at Skip Brown cars. The driving force behind the UK's quickest Peugeot competition and fast road cars.
full page can be found here

so if you are interested get your name down and let me know which place you would prefer

Advice please gents...
At the moment I've only removed the centre cat, changed the backbox and opted for a K&N Panel filter - would TEK3 be wasted on me so far? The link says it suits heavily modified car - which mine isn't! Would it be worth it - I'm not planning on much more modding as my car must serve as a reliable everyday runner for a few years yet, but had thought of TEK3 as a final safe enjoyable touch soon.
Also, how obvious to, say the next buyer or insurance assessor, is it that it's been done, even with a sound knowlegde of the model? Is the actual unit a relpacement chip/wires/what's obvious?
Sorry for all the questions but I guess you have already answered these for yourselves if you're down to buy.
Thanks
Si

just be aware though, make sure you have taken your car as far as u wish modding wise b4 your remap, otherwise u will have to cross there palm again for any further mods carried out, full decat,Breathing, fuel pump & reg, & if you can afford Front mount

@Si of Sheff
my car is not far off the state of mods of yours,i only full decat and panel filter. the remap would not be wasted you would gain more bhp and torque, but you would probably find it better with changing the downpipe as well to get the most. a tek 3 is not obvious to insurance or a buyer there are no chips to be added. they will change the map within your ecu. the ecu will still work with subaru select monitor and still say it is a 801 etc

Donutman,
Thanks for the advice. So a Tek 3 is "invisible" then? Perfect mod!
Are there actually any parts required for a tek 3 then or is it the considerable time, skill and kit that the money buys?
I think the downpipe would be the final mod, I can't blow too much money or risk reliability on this car. That may mean I'm waiting a little while longer though. Leave me on there as a maybe - I'll investigate the finances....

no there are no parts required, although certain mappers like u to change to a 3 port solenoid 4 better boost control, its a flash of your map, then a bit highly skilled tweeking & away u go
