Some complete idiot breaching the central white lines on a dark country road side swiped me last night. didnt even bother to stop!

Took out the wing mirror and did a nice job on the door also. I waited around for a while to see if he would turn up but no, I have only had the car three months so am a bit gutted to say the least.

I was just getting used to the cars power and balance etc before I spent some hard erned on some mods to pep her up a bit

Now I'll have to shell out!

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a MY97 mirror (black plastic) UK? Other than Subaru.

sorry to hear about it.. that f'n SUCKS.. did u get his license plate?

use this as an opportunity to start modding... and get color coded mirrors

there are plenty of subaru breakers around (grade a, townendgarage etc)... and/or just look in the for sale forums as you often get good deals on used parts (might even find a color coded set)

dont pay subaru's inflated prices for body parts if u can find it used.
