Thumbs down Petrol leak?

ive had my sti ppp 2 weeks now and on a couple of occasions thought i could smell petrol.
anyway ive just been and put £40 of optimax in,got home, got out to open the garage and thought hmm that petrol smell again, put the car away only to find several drips and a small puddle of fuel on my drive, dangerous or what?
good job i don't smoke,so ive got to have a leak right?
ive had a look under the car in the garage and there seems to be nothing.

anybody else had this, surely somethings amiss.
mike.

Did they change the fuel pump ? Had/have the same problem on mine after fitting a Bosch in-tank pump.. fuel appears to leak out of the tank around the seal at the top. New rubber gasket and correct alignment solved the problem for a while but now it's back !! Only leaks when tank is 3/4 + full.

I had similar problem when PPP installed on my car, a MY03 / STi9, i.e. strong smell of fuel in the car. Part of PPP installation is uprated fuel pump which goes inside the fuel tank. Appears that afterwhich they did not reseat the seal on the fuel tank opening properly (which is somewhere under the rear seat). The dealer, who installed the PPP, fixed it in 20 mins while I waited.
