Default MY00 Brakes Seized - Can't Move Car - Help

My car has been parked up for 4 weeks outside and I have just tried reversing it. The handbrake seems seized on and the car won't move whatever the revs. The car is parked up against a wall so I can't go forwards. I've removed both rear wheels and tried freeing the discs/drums up with a piece of wood and a hammer. Also put an old wheel on and tried tapping this left and right loads of times with a small sledge hammer. Any ideas what else to try?

Cheers,

Ian.

P.S. I know it shouldn't have been left for this amount of time with the handbrake on - I never normally use it when parked up for more than a couple of days.

You could try sticking it in reverse, holding on some revs and dropping the clutch, its worked for me in the past, but dont blame me if it goes wrong!!

Sorted 2 Hours Later. Sledge Hammer and Old Wheel eventually did the trick

Ian, it would be worth in the future not leaving the handbrake on if you can, with bad weather and salt etc, they do stick sometimes, also if they're wet when you park up that doesn't help, ideally you want to use the brakes a bit before you park.

Glad it got sorted!

Had the same two weeks ago m8 and I parked mine with it off! Washed the car then put her straight in the garage , my head was wrecked! Finally gave after alot of rocking back and forward, (the car not me) not nice, glad you got it sorted without expense.
