Default Effective upgrade

My 03 standard wipers were useless. Fitted some new PIAA silicone blades from www.j-w-racing.com at the weekend and they're excellent. No more smearing or squeaking and great service from the company.

Very happy, even though they were quite pricey.

cheers for the tip ! My '03 wipers are crap also. If there is one thing that is really annoying its smeary squeeky wiper blades!

I have PIAA wipers on my sti8 in UK and Forrester Turbo in Greece. They are superb (the wipers and the cars). If anyone else is thinking to fit them be sure to follow the screen cleaning instructions and once completed leave wipers on for 10 mins in clean dry conditions to build up a layer of silicone on windscreen. Thereafter besides wipers operating clean and silent, the silicone on the windscreen acts same as 'rainoff' so you hardly even need wipers at speed and every time you use wipers thereafter it replaces the silicone on windscreen and keeps wiperblades in trim. They are well worth the money. I have PIAA light bulbs (extreme white) in both cars too and they also huge improvement over standard which are nearly useless.
