Sorry.... but...
Having been on the lookout for a V5 STi spoiler I have seen a few different types ranging from £170 on ebay to £350ish elsewhere
What are the details that make the oringial V5 look like an original.. eh apart from bad mouldings
Whats the best un to go for - £170 sounds better than £350... any thoughts?
Ta

I've got one on order from ebay for £155. Now a waiting game to find out what the quality is like. Would have gone for the more expensive item, but I'm paranoid about it being ripped off as its parked in the street . Easier to replace £155 than £350.
Even if not that great quality, I dont suppose people will notice unless really close up.

i bought a cheapy V5 copy, it looks ok but it's not the same.
big difference is the bottom part of the spoiler that fits to the boot is about twice the thickness of a proper one, not a big deal it just doesn't look as neat.
other differnce is the brake light is mounted on top of the bottom section rather than being set in underneath it, again it just doesn't look as good.
people have been copying these for a while now so i don't think you'll have any major probs and you'll love the spoiler, it really does look the bollox!
personally i'd be on the lookout for a V6 copy though, it's a bit higher and has a profiled lip on the top part of the spoiler which makes it look a bit more defined.
