How many Classic owners on S.Net have had their UK or JDM Scoob since it was brand new and still have it ?
I took delivery of mine in November 99 (5 months after ordering it) It cost me STI money even then and now it's worth naff all, but what the hell residual values are overated.
It still makes me everyday

Had my uk turbo from new in september 98, in the good old days when there was a waiting list.I've never owned a car for more than 12 months before the scoob but i still love driving it although i'm not looking forward to trading it in as i still think of it as a £20,000 car.

I went 2 buy a second hand trezo and end up buying a new my2000 in dbm had it on 1 march 2001 never looked back once and still trying to think what stuff 2 buy 4 it .Sorry but new shape very bland no matter how big they make that scoop never buy one but 2.5 ltr and 350 bhp does sound a bit horny ,if it had some carbon spoilers then maybe.

Got my MY00 in Oct 99 by EU import - drove it back to the UK 2 weeks before it was shown at the Motor Show Local dealer was most interested in it!
Still love it, even if it's currently in bits with a blown engine (thank you, MAF sensor ) .

The reason mine took 10 days is because I wasn't prepared to wait 6 months, which was what some dealers were quoting. It was also a Wagon, so (in some eyes) slightly less desirable. So I rang every single dealer I could find on the website for 150 miles around London hassling and looking for cancelled orders. There were those that were prepared to help & those that weren't. In the end, I was offered a choice of 6, with the latest being September delivery. 2x DGM, 2xDBM & 2xSilver. In the end, it was down to Days (Colchester) & Lancaster(7Oaks) who both had DGMs. Lancasters got the deal because I got £500 more on my G60 part ex.
I was also offered a saloon but as that wasn't the version I wanted, turned it down.
Richard
Do we want to tell them what we paid for our PPP?
Nah - think not

Had mine since new - Feb 2001. Was thinking of changing it but couldn't decide what to go for. Decided to stick with it for another year (with the extended warranty just in case the MAF thingy decides to go wrong).
More smiles per mile then any other car.

Bought my classic in march 99 and only changed it last June for an STI8 as a redundancy payout burnt too big a hole in my pocket! If it hadn't been for that I would still have it. Lots of mods and quick (STi had to have PPP to equal it) I think of it often and worry that she may need a wash!

Got mine in March 99 after atleast a six month wait, I wanted to hold out for the 99 spec anyway.Still it may only be worth a bag of crisps & an apple now but I still love her & after 65000 miles & mucho looking after she still looks & feels like a 20k motor.Wouldn't mind a WR1 though!

Me too - imported my MY00 from Holland in summer 2000 for only £16,000 - its still great, never let me down (though I've only done 20k). Keep thinking of chucking it in, but what would I get?? Maybe I'll wait for it to be a true classic?

May 98, waited 5 months and only got it then after kicking up hell with Subaru UK myself Still has less than 25,000 on the clock and looks better than new (IMHO, of course!) I meant to change it when the New Age came out but I took one look.....I can't see me selling it now and I know that everybody says that but I have a track record that includes a 240Z which I kept for 23 years and has now been replaced by Scooby in my affections

Got my DBM, in sept '99 after a six month wait, its now got 44k miles on the clock and i've loved every one of them. Only problem i've had was a maf sensor failure once, but apart from that it still puts a smile on my face, usually when powersliding around the roundabout at work at six in the morning.(sets me up for the day)

Got mine in November 2000, done over 83000 miles in it (over 40k at around the 350bhp mark) and enjoyed every minute of it. Well apart from the servicing and new tyre costs of course!!!!

I owned my MY00 PPP'd car from new (7 miles on the clock) and sold her just before xmas (with 36k on the clock, 3.5yrs). She was an excellent car and i enjoyed everything id done to her (modification wise ) but i decided i needed a change to something a little more hardcore so ive just purchased a new scoob

Had my JDM My94 STi for 2 years now. I have done some mods, exhaust and suspension mainly. I love the car and am very proud of it. It is the best handling road going saloon I have driven and the performance always leaves a grin on my face. I prefer it's looks and have never considered changing cars. I like its rarity value too.
