Hi Guys

Just wondering what sort of price I could expect to pay to get this fixed. Also is it going to be possible to knock it out due to where it is, or is it a fill and spray job?

Oh and for those that haven't noticed, there are 3 small connected dents and then one further to the right and slightly down

I've seen new panels with worse damage than that!

Take it around some indepent paintshops look what sort of workmanship they turn out. If it can't be beaten out from underneath and you really dont want filler used for some reason you could get it filled with lead.

£300 quid tops

Sounds like the estimate I had for £120 + VAT is pretty cheap then! Mind you the guy hasn't seen it as yet, gave me the price from my description. Suspect it may go up when he sees it! Eeek

I have no idea - washed the car and there they were, guess I had missed them when it happened due to the amount of muck on the car

Suspect some muppet dropped something on it in a car park

Try your local dent masters.
The paints not broken so they may be able to get the dent out without the need to respray.
Charge per panel (not per dint) is usually around £60 -£80.

Haven't been able to locate a dent masters / dent devils, but have found something similar.

He was unsure about knocking the dent out due to the location of it. Also was saying it would probably be quicker and cheaper to fill and spray (although he hasn't seen it yet). I would prefer a knock out if possible.

Dent devils wont touch it as i bet it is nearly impossible to get the tools they use up inside the creased wing...

It will be alot more then a few hundred quid....Cant really fill it due to being dented on the crease of the wing where it meets the bonnet...filler wont hold on to nothing...

New wing supply fit and paint...if you can find any1 to do that for under 500 quid and it be a top job i want their number...!!!

Well the chap has had a look, seems a decent guy. Has said it isn't going to be possible to remove the dent with the wing in situ and the best he can do is tidy it up, fill and re-spray as it has actually "flared" the wing out a bit. He has said he can make it look a lot better for £85 but it will not be perfect.

Said if it was his car he would either leave it as there paint is not broken so it isn't going to rust or get a new wing sprayed up. Nice to find somebody honest and up front!

Have asked him to see what he can do - will post the pics up when it is all done!

Just been talking to him, apparently he does some repair work for Trent Saab Ltd (Thought so what) said they were good with Subaru for service etc. He gave me their details - ahhh so that's what TSL of TSL Motorsport stands for then!

Guess if he is good enough for them he should be good enough for me!

I am surprised that a Dentwizard guy cannot repair this, had one just like it on my last car he managed to take out the side wing indicator and got to it that way............absolutely superb job.
£30 cash in hand

Well he has just finished, been here 5 hours and it is a class job. I can understand what he was saying about tring to knock the dent back out with there being 4 of them and on the sharp bend of the wing etc. He filled it and re-sprayed and I can't see any sign of where the dent was and he didn't think he was going to be able to get it 100%

£105 incl VAT and he touched up some scuffs on my front bumper as well.

To top it all off he wants to drop back next week when the paint has fully cured to make sure it is all OK and give it another polish up - and no charge for doing so.

All I can say is if you need a good body repair guy then look up Prime Finish in Nottigham.

Me too!

Got a whole list of other things for him to do when I get round to it:
1) Re-finish the alloys
2) Sort some of the leather trim out
3) Sort some of the scuffs on the interior plastic
etc etc etc
