I have always been wary of cleaning the engine for fear of corroding the electrical connections etc... Just a thought....

Its says on the can, to spray the 1st can onto a warm engine, leave form a bit then rinse.
Run the engine to dry off.
2nd can is sprayed on to shine/protect.

Seems easy.

do you just spray over whole engine or do you have to tape anything up for protection??

Keep it out of the inside of the altenator and not directly on to wires/connectors, also not the intercooler..its delicate.
And cover the alarm too.

Should ok otherwise.
I think a toothbrush or similar would help to get into small areas.

It recommends a hosepipe to rinse.
I think a jetwash might cause problems.

Just cover up the intercooler with a bit of cardboard, then the alarm housing and induction filter if you have one. If you do use a jet wash and have an Sti, don't spray the jet too close to the Red crackle as it may start to come off.
