If you'r are asking about insurance; then you will need to go WRX... the EVO will be conciderably more expencive.

I would say that the evo is the better car IF you want to drive at ten tenths all the time, and you can live with the running costs.
A scooby is every bit as good for 90% of the time, has at least reasonable fuel and servicing requirements, (note I didnt say "cheap") and is, in my opinion, the better car overall.

yer my mate as an evo 6 and he pays £1700 and he's 28

If your comparing WRXs and Evos then you should really be considering STis aswell!! In my opinion obviously!!
