how cheap can u get stuff like oil filters, standard air, fuel filters etc, oh and wot type of oil and how often, i use 5w30 every 2000miles but i do hammer mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've jsut paid from Subaru Dealer the folling prices:

Air Filter £22
Oil Filter £10
Spark plugs £9.50 EACH

Stupid prices !!!

I use Mobil Motorsport 15/50 which is one of a few that is recommended on here. Is 5/30 not too thin?

the subaru legacy workshop book recomends 5w30 for turbo models, my local motor factors gets me jap parts. oil fiter and air fiter costs around 11 pounds and the oil is direct from a local oil blender and is **** hot stuff for 13 quids,
