MY03 WRX - Coolant level
#1
Daft question time - I've just noticed that the coolant level that was about an inch below the max level mark 2-3 weeks ago (and as I recall has been that way since new) is now down to the low level mark.
Any ideas as to what may be the cause ? Is this a trip back to the dealer ?
I've had a quick look and can't see any obvious leaks from pipes.
Cheers

Had the same with mine couple of weeks ago oil at the bottom of the dip stick again! Thought Id'e check the coolant and that was at the bottom too, Quick top up and all is well. I think because its a new car we tend to think that they do not use these fluids but thats not the case, best to check on a regular basis.

I haven't had any coolant loss in mine, but what I have noticed is that my top coolant hose has evidence of leakage, have a look at yours, just at the part of the hose thats below the air intake plastic pipe.

I had that about a month after i got mine (mar 03) O topped it off and didnt have a problem since, i think it may just drink it very early on.....
if you top it off, i shouldnt worry until service, then they will do it for you.
Neil.
