Prodrive options

Quick question for the informed.
When i bought my scooby 18 months ago the guy said it had the following :-
Prodrive exhaust
Prodrive Quick shift
Prodrive wheels
Prodrive suspension
I know the wheels are, but was any of the above avilable for uk turbo models in 1997.
It now has a magnex back box.
The car does sit slightly lower than a 96 sti.
Dont care if it has the bits or not, just wondering.
Does any one know if the supplying dealer, Bentleys of Knaresborough, are still going and if they would have any records.
Cheers
pete

I know that Prodrive did a handling pack that consisted of 17" wheels, Eibach springs / Bilstein dampers, and a quick shift coz its on my 00MY. Dont know if was around in 97 but I'd guess it would have been.
Sorry, cant help any more than that.

Next time u have a wheel off check the struts under the front arch, should have a nice shiny sticker on it saying bilstein and STI Prodrive
My WRX has the prodrive set up if u want to see the pic...should sit 20 mm lower at back and 10 mm at front

cheers for the replies guys.

The price list leaflet from Prodrive that came with my car said the handling pack was £2500 + vat, and it also shows on the original invoice as a figure of that too, so obviously not a lot of discount was to be had at the time. (May 2000)

Hmm - well I got the quick shift and the 17" Pro Drive wheels on my MY00 wagon. Guess I better have a crawl under the wheel arch and check the dampers and springs. That would be a nice little bonus!

I bought a MY97 new in Jan 1997 and had the Bilstein suspension kit, Prodrive/Speedline wheels and quickshift fitted when I picked it up so they were definitely available on MY1997! From memory the suspension kit on it's own was between 1000-1500 quid.
I actually have the Prodive WRsport brochure for that model year in font of me at the moment!
At that time you could order any part separately or as a package. There was a performance package, interior package, exterior package and a 'driver enhancement pack'
The driver enhancement pack consisted of the suspension kit, 16 or 17 inch Speedline wheels/Pirelli P-Zero tyres, uprated brake pads and quickshift gearchange.
I suspect the 2500+Vat invoice was for the 'Driving enhancement package'.
The dampers for that that kit should be grey with a Bilstein logo and blue springs.
Hope this helps
